Restoran Sun Yin Loong, Aman Suria | Two big eaters

What's more exciting than having a decent breakfast to kick start your day?!

As a typical Malaysian, besides nasi lemak or roti canai, I guess curry mee would be another great choice of breakfast.

So here we are today at Restoran Sun Yin Loong, Aman Suria! I can always see crowd in the kopitiam when I pass by during weekends.

Always crowded during weekends.

Once, I saw someone who ordered a set of toast with a pairs of half-boiled eggs on it and I told Mr.Big eater, WE MUST COME TO TRY THE BREAKFAST HERE.

There are plenty choices of breakfast in this kopitiam. Around 10 individual stalls are serving different local foods such as char kuey teow, chee cheong fun, ban mee, curry mee, chicken rice, wantan mee, pork noodles and so on.

As a first timer, we randomly picked a few of our favourites.

1. Traditional butter toast + half boiled eggs

Toast with runny eggs from Restoran Sun Yin Loong is so good.
[Toast+half-boiled eggs+milk tea= RM6.00]

Although people go to kopitiam for good coffees, but we would skip this because we are really not fans of coffee. The milk tea is not bad anyway. I had my half-boiled eggs with sprinkles of pepper and drops of soy sauce. Yumm, that's so good it reminds me those days when my grandparents brought me out for breakfast. The toast is just perfect for me. It is not too dry as it absorbed the moisture of the runny eggs yet remains crispy at the edges.

 2. Curry mee with roasted pork
[Curry mee+roasted pork= RM7]
I can only say WOW to this curry mee. When I was ordering, the boss mentioned I need to wait for around 20mins. For me, this curry mee is worth waiting for because Mr.Big eater praised it! You know how fastidious a Penangnite's taste buds could be and when he said it is nice, you know it is nice. Ha!

3. Roasted chicken and char siew rice
[Roasted chicken+charsiew rice= RM6.50]

This chicken rice got its very first bad comment from Mr.Big eater for its very small portion. However, it never amaze us with its taste. It is not bad but I can say that it is a normal chicken rice you can find anywhere. If possible, let us introduce a good chicken rice in the town for next round!

4. Wantan mee

[Wantan mee= RM6]

This wantan mee is not even authentic but still acceptable I guess??

5. Rose apple

[Rose apple= RM2.00/pack]
So after all the heavy dishes, we decided to have something refreshing to end this satisfying meal. We get this from the fruit stall in the same kopitiam. It is very juicy and fresh. A good ending indeed.

There are still many foods that we haven't have chance to try out, but we somehow agreed that this is a good kopitiam to go for breakfast as it is not really easy to find a good one in KL. Anyway, we will definitely explore more in the future hoping to find a really good one eventually.
